Biography
I am a seasoned Information Systems & Technology (IST) professional with over two decades of experience, I thrive at the intersection of technology, innovation, and leadership. My career journey spans diverse roles in IST management, digital transformation, project leadership, and capacity building across industries including eHealth, education, and international development. I have led strategic initiatives to optimize technology for organizational growth and efficiency. My expertise encompasses data management, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and eGovernment solutions, underpinned by certifications in Microsoft Azure, ISO 27001, and Project Management. I’m a proud Senior Member of both IEEE and ACM, contributing to global conversations on technology for good. I’ve presented on data privacy, smart cities, and grant proposal writing, and actively mentor young technologists, including training programs for initiatives like the African Girls Can Code. I am a lifelong learner currently pursuing a PhD in Information Systems and Technology, I hold an MSc with Distinction in Computer-Based Information Systems and am committed to leveraging technology for social impact.
